WOD: 3 Mile Run

I had trouble falling asleep last night.  I didn't turn down the thermostat early enough so it wasn't as cold a I prefer (64 degree).  After a solid 10 hours of sleep I woke up at 8am.  (Way too much sleep)

45 Minutes before the workout, I had a banana and 2 tablespoons of peanut butter.  The fat from the peanut butter helps better fuel me for the long steady state cardio session and the sugar from the banana helps to delay the onset of fatigue.

I started the workout at 9:15am on a treadmill at Anytime Fitness - Webster Groves.  With ESPN on the monitor, highlights from UFC 199 and a tribute to the late Muhammad Ali entertained me for the 29:57 minutes.

Immediately after, I had 1 scoop of Xtend BCAAs and an hour later I ate a cup of corn, 1/2 cup of brown rice and tilipia.
